The LVMH-owned brand Bvlgari added Thé Impérial to its Eau Parfumée collection, which explores the multifaceted scents of tea.

First created in 2017 by Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier as a treat for guests of Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts, the fragrance was conceived to translate the refinement and balance of these exceptional havens into an olfactory expression.

Nine years later, this signature scent takes on a new life beyond the hotel universe, joining the Eau Parfumée collection as a union of Chinese tea culture and Italian citrus.

Packaging Details

Eau Parfumée Thé Impérial appears in the line’s iconic flacon as a symbol of Roman elegance. Its silhouette draws inspiration from the geometry of ancient Roman columns.

The cap bears the “BVLGARI BVLGARI” round logotype. A crackled golden inlay subtly references celadon ceramics of Chinese tradition.

The new flacon introduces new chromatic orange tones. Radiant yet serene, the color evokes tea leaves bathed in golden light, citrus ripening under the sun, and the warm atmosphere of an imperial garden.

The label was crafted from natural hemp fibers and carries an exclusive hand-drawn botanical illustration of a bergamot branch, created exclusively for Bvlgari.

Its embossed texture adds an intimate tactile dimension, enriching the quiet sophistication of the Eau Parfumée aesthetic.

Fragrance Notes

The new fragrance elevates natural Black Tea with Italian citrus fruits. With 92% natural-origin ingredients and a new Black Tea extract, the fragrance expresses Bvlgari’s modern vision of perfumery.

At its heart lies natural Black Tea, artfully captured through the Supercritical Fluid Extraction (SFE), a CO2 extraction technique that preserves its purest, pod-like aroma. This low-temperature method preserves the natural profile of the raw material.

Other fragrance notes include Italian citrus fruits such as Lemon, Mandarin, and bergamot.

This scent is also available as a Body Shower Gel and Body Lotion.
